A creative collective like no other in Toronto, Canada offering members access to music, film, art, and design studios, to create collaboratively and share intentionally with a blank canvas event space to unleash their ideas.

I am a serial community organizer.
Whether the community is a creative team, rock band, record label, arts collective, music festival, or just a group of friends, I’m often the driving force behind the effort to unite around an idea and prove that we are better together than apart.

I'm looking for opportunities to solve big problems. It's ambitious, I know.
I think the best way to grow your bottom line is to address the elephant in the room. What are people saying about your brand? What do you want them to say?
Don't tell them. Show them.
I have shown you how my curious, empathetic, overactive, and analytical brain works. Let me use it to turn your big problems into big opportunities.
Hi there! My name is Dimitri!
I am a curious person driven by creativity, inspired by communication in all of its forms.
My superpower is knowing a little bit about everything because I'm open to learning about all things.
I’m passionate about the atypical, finding new creative solutions to problems I don’t know exist yet,
and I think collaboration is the way to get things done.

I see the big picture.
I love discovering the method in people’s madness and finding that red thread. I’m good at it because I’m an over analyzer. I play my own devil’s advocate just trying to figure out what to eat for breakfast. It’s a poor survival skill but works great for polishing that idea into a diamond.

Solution

Problem
Creative play in the physical world is being overshadowed by online play in the digital world.
Insight
Playtime is becoming increasingly motivated by extrinsic rewards and accomplishments rather than instrinsic benefits.

Insight

Solution
Partner with Spotify to expand an existing content hub to feature content created for and by people living with autism in celebration of the UN's Annual World Autism Awareness Day on April 2.
BOSE - Find Your Stim*
*Stim: A term used in the autism community meaning "self-stimulating behaviour" to ease discomfort, including auditory stimming.

A family business that I have been privlidged to grow up with and learn first hand the value of strong communication in a B2B context with a highly technical product.

Problem
In 2020, this industry, which relies heavily on in-person communications such as trade shows, and on-site product demos, was hit hard by the sudden shift to virtual communications.
Insight
Communication in the manufacturing industry is often one step behind, with less confidence in digital communication.
Solution
I established a content creation studio for live streaming and video production, onboarded new hires for animated and 3D rendered content, and connected with partners in the virtual tradeshow space.

Problem
A lack of accessible space and resources for creative people in any indsutry to fully realize their ideas without constraints.
Insight
The coworking industry capitalizes on collective spaces without offering the physical tools that creative communities need.
Solution
As a co-founder of this initiative, I created a space that provided key resources such as a recording studio, various media production suites, a makerspace, flexible workspaces, café/lounge, and an event venue, while fostering a community of people with many different perspectives and skill sets to explore the value of creative collaboration.

A student-run record label and music community on UBC campus created to provide student musicians of all skill levels the opportunity to perform, collaborate and create with other musicians, producers, photographers, and videographers.
Problem
When I arrived on UBC campus, the first thing I did was search for a community of musicians to play and write music with. Of their 300+ student clubs none of them offered me what I was looking for.
Insight
Student campuses are infamous for open mic nights but don't connect or foster the community around them to encourage collaboration, developing skills, or opportunities to go further
Solution
I connected with a student-run record label which granted me the opportunity to expand on it's model of only working with a handful of artists to creating a home for every musician on campus.

Problem
I was 18 and restless, having chosen a local university that was not a good fit for me. After finding the right school and the right city, I realized I was in the wrong program.
Insight
We often arrive at good decisions by first exploring the wrong paths and taking an active approach to self-reflection.
Solution
I never stoped searching, and I didn't settle for just good enough.
